These reed switches, for Norwalk juicers, are an essential part of safe operation of these juicers. The reed switch senses the correct installation of the feed tube, keeping the operator safe from an accidental cutter rotation. Even though all servicing of the juicer should first start off with unplegging the unit, these reed switches are an extra measure of safety.
